SENS-SCT013-100A
Capteur courant non-invasif SCT-013 100A
Pince ampèremétrique 100A, sortie AC — monitoring sans coupure circuit.
Technical analysis
The SCT-013 clamp clips around an existing conductor without cutting it: it is the tool for energy measurement on a live cabinet, with no shutdown and no electrician intervention on the power side. The 100 A/1 V variant integrates its burden resistor, so it reads directly on an ESP32 analog input after conditioning (offset + rectification).
Limits: it is a current sensor, not a power sensor — without voltage and phase measurement, you estimate amperes, not real kW (power factor ignored). The 1 % accuracy and the 13 mm window bound its use. For a DC measurement or a circuit you design yourself, the Hall-effect ACS712 is complementary. Non-invasive energy retrofit is detailed in the dedicated article.

- Sécurité TC — The datasheet mandates: voltage-output secondary NOT short-circuited, current-output secondary NOT open (dangerous overvoltage) — a real installation constraint.
