Seeed XIAO ESP32-C3
ESP32-C3 format pouce (21×17.5mm) — RISC-V, Wi-Fi, BT5.
Technical analysis
The XIAO ESP32-C3 is the smallest common denominator of the wireless sensor: a RISC-V core, Wi-Fi + BLE, on a postage-stamp footprint. When you need to slip intelligence into a cramped enclosure — a remote sensor, a beacon, a discreet node on a machine — its size and low consumption make the difference.
It is a single core at 160 MHz: it collects, conditions and transmits, but does not do heavy computation. For TinyML or signal processing, the ESP32-S3 (dual-core + vectors) is required. The C3 is the right choice when the dominant constraint is size and cost, not compute power.
