Technical analysis

The Arduino Nano ESP32 puts the ESP32-S3 SoC (with its TinyML vector instructions) into the official Arduino Nano form factor, with the brand's long-term support and documentation. For a team that wants official, traceable and supported hardware rather than a €3 clone, it is the compromise: same capabilities as the ESP32-S3, with Arduino's ecosystem and supply reliability.

Downside: the price is several times that of a generic S3 board with identical specs. You choose it for training, the prototype shown to the client, or the small series where support matters more than unit cost. For volume or throwaway use, a bare ESP32-S3 N16R8 board is more economical.
