Technical analysis
This kit assembles a complete vibration monitoring by control chart chain: an accelerometer (ADXL / MPU family), an edge board, and the procedure to build an SPC chart on the vibration amplitude of a rotating machine. The objective is pedagogical: to understand why the choice of sensor (noise floor, bandwidth) conditions what can be detected, and how a control chart turns a raw signal into an actionable alert signal.
It is a training and prototyping support, not a certified turnkey predictive-maintenance system. It provides the methodological foundations (SPC + vibration) to then specify production instrumentation. The underlying components (ADXL355 for precision, ADXL345/MPU6050 for screening) are detailed in their respective entries.
