HAT 4G/LTE SIM7600G-H pour Raspberry Pi

HAT 4G/LTE mondial SIM7600G-H — GPS intégré, idéal télémétrie isolée.

Technical analysis

The SIM7600G-H HAT gives a Raspberry Pi a standalone cellular 4G connection, independent of the client's IT network — the right choice for an isolated site, a remote station, or when the IT department forbids access to its LAN. The "G" variant covers worldwide bands and integrates GNSS, so position + connectivity on a single module. GSM/GPRS fallback for poorly covered areas.

To weigh: 4G implies an M2M subscription and consumption far higher than LoRa — it is used for real data uplink (dashboards, images, logs), not for a battery-powered sensor. For little data at very long range with very low consumption, LoRa (Ra-02) remains more suitable; the SIM7600G is there when you need throughput without local infrastructure.
